Money Management
- Reference rule: 0.01 standard FX lot for each full USD 500 of account balance.
- Do not force a trade below the minimum reference. If the balance is below USD 500, consider a smaller-contract account or demo environment rather than increasing risk.
- Use the trailing-stop practice shown in Important Notice. Lot sizing and trailing stops work together to control exposure.
- Non-FX products require separate contract checks. Gold, indices and crypto do not share the same pip/point value as standard FX pairs.

Important Notice
- Long-Term: Monthly + Weekly + Daily must align in one direction; the Daily reading must be fresh in that same direction.
- Intraday: Monthly + Weekly + Daily + 5H + 1H + 30M must align; the 30M reading must be fresh in that same direction.
- BUY and SELL are mirror rules. Neutral or mixed alignment means no fresh signal.
- First snapshot is baseline-only. An old alignment is not treated as a fresh trigger.
- Use the Money Management reference before entry. Avoid oversized positions that cannot tolerate normal market movement.
- Apply a Trailing Stop Loss where appropriate. It can move protection in the trade's favour as price advances.
- Do not increase lot size to recover a losing trade. Maintain consistent exposure discipline.
- Remain responsible for the open position. Market gaps, slippage, spread and platform conditions can affect execution.
A trailing stop loss is a stop level that can follow a profitable position as the market moves in your favour. If the market then reverses by the selected trailing distance, the platform can close the position subject to available liquidity and execution conditions.
- Open the new Trend Signal position in MT4 on your desktop/PC.
- Open the Terminal window (normally Ctrl+T) and select the Trade tab.
- Right-click the open position and choose Trailing Stop.
- Select the required distance or choose Custom. Convert pips to platform points according to your broker's quote digits; do not assume every broker uses the same point conversion.
- Keep MT4 desktop running and connected while relying on its client-side trailing-stop function. Broker/platform behaviour can vary, so verify it on your account.
Standard MT4 mobile apps generally do not provide the same automatic trailing-stop function as the desktop terminal. A mobile user may manually place or adjust a Stop Loss while monitoring the position. Use conservative lot sizing so normal market movement does not create disproportionate account risk, and verify the exact features available in your broker's mobile app.
The Member / IB Referral module is separate from the Signal Engine. Referral calculations use only administrator-entered, broker-verified standard-lot-equivalent volume from the IB portal. Signal activity does not create, increase or validate referral rewards.
Methodology & History
Indicator Families Behind the Ratings
The underlying technical-rating layer reflects a combination of widely used trend and oscillator measures. Trend Signal uses the resulting technical ratings as inputs to its own multi-timeframe decision rules rather than relying on one indicator alone.
Alignment Before Action
- Long-Term: Monthly + Weekly + Daily must align in the same BUY or SELL direction.
- Fresh Long-Term trigger: the Daily reading must newly turn into that aligned direction.
- Intraday: Monthly + Weekly + Daily + 5H + 1H + 30M must align.
- Fresh Intraday trigger: the 30M reading must newly turn into the same aligned direction.
No Stale Alignment
The first observed aligned snapshot is treated as a baseline, not automatically as a new trade. A signal is created only when the required trigger timeframe changes into the already-confirmed direction. Neutral or conflicting readings remain WAIT.
Position Discipline Matters
Signal generation and risk management are separate. The terminal provides entry guidance and a trailing-stop reference; members remain responsible for position size, execution, broker-specific pricing and active trade supervision.
